Xel-Ha López Méndez (Guadalajara, 1991) is a poet and artist. She has published Chronicles of a new century (Quinqué cooperative editorial, 2016), and Love letters for my friend the pig (Letour1987, 2015). She was the recipient of the FONCA Young Creators grant 2017-2018 for alternative media and performance, and the Foundation of Mexican Literature grant 2018-2019 for poetry.
Katherine M. Hedeen’s latest translations include In the Drying Shed of Souls: Poetry from Cuba’s Generation Zero and Prepoems in PostSpanish, a chapbook by Jorgenrique Adoum. She is a Professor of Spanish at Kenyon College, the Associate Editor of Action Books, and the Poetry in Translation Editor at the Kenyon Review.
