Miroslav Kirin was born in 1965 in Sisak, Croatia, and lives in Zagreb. He is the author of ten volumes of poetry, three prose books and a children’s picture book. He has also edited and co-edited two anthologies of poetry. His work is represented in national and international anthologies of contemporary poetry. He is the member of the Croatian Writers’ Society (HDP) and of the Program Board of the Goran’s Spring Poetry Festival. He also translates poetry and fiction from English. Among others, Miroslav Kirin has translated the works of Anne Carson and Paul Auster into Croatian.
