Joanna Pearson’s short stories have appeared in Blackbird and Big Big Wednesday. Her writing has also appeared in The New York Times, Gulf Coast, The Greensboro Review, Subtropics, and other publications. She is the author of a book of poetry, Oldest Mortal Myth (Story Line Press, 2012) and a novel for young adults, The Rites and Wrongs of Janice Wills (Arthur A. Levine Books, 2011).
