After careers in academia (Psychology Department, NYU) and mental health service administration, Barbara Felton became a farmer, raising cattle and pigs with her husband in Warwick, New York. Farming for the past eight years in an area close to intensely urban locales, she has written about the juxtaposition of rural and urban world views.
