Tyler Mills is the author of Hawk Parable, winner of the 2017 Akron Poetry Prize (forthcoming in 2019) and Tongue Lyre, winner of the 2011 Crab Orchard Series in Poetry First Book Award (SIU Press 2013). Her poems have appeared widely, including The New Yorker, BelieverBlackbird, Boston Review, POETRY, Kenyon Review, and New England Review, and her creative nonfiction won the Copper Nickel Editor’s Prize in Prose and has also appeared in AGNI, The Rumpus, and the Collagist. Her visual art has appeared in The Piano Roll Project: Shared Sensibilities exhibition at the Bates Mill Complex in Lewiston, ME (2015). She is editor-in-chief of The Account, an assistant professor at New Mexico Highlands University, and a resident of Santa Fe.
