Anthony Caleshu is the author of 5 books of poetry, most recently Xenia etc. (Shearsman), and 3 books of criticism about poetry (most recently, Editor of In the Air: Essays on the Poetry of Peter Gizzi, Wesleyan UP). Born in the US, he’s lived and worked in Ireland and England since the late 90’s. His work has appeared widely in journals on both sides of the Atlantic including in Granta, TLS, Poetry Review, Conjunctions, Agni, and Boston Review (as winner of the Boston Review Poetry Prize). He is Professor of Poetry at University of Plymouth and publisher of the small press, Periplum.
