Sara Wintz is the author of Walking Across A Field We Are Focused On At This Time Now (Ugly Duckling Press), an epic poem about the 20th century exploring the foundations of facts, time, and social identity. Editorial projects include: THE FEELING IS MUTUAL: A LIST OF OUR FUCKING DEMAND$ (Compline, 2013) and INVISIBLY TIGHT INSTITUTIONAL OUTER FLANKS DUB (verb) GLORIOUS NATIONAL HI-VIOLENCE RESPONSE DREAM: New Writing from the U.S. and U.K. (Critical Documents, 2008). Wintz has served on the advisory boards of non-profit literary organizations Small Press Traffic (2012–2014) and Ugly Duckling Presse (2016–2018); she’s curated poetry readings for Small Press Traffic, Segue Reading Series, New Yipes, and Berkeley Art Museum/Pacific Film Archive. Her interviews and articles have appeared at SFMOMA’s Open Space, The Creative Independent, and Art Papers.
