Born and raised in Guizhou, China, Weiji Wang 王唯冀 is a PhD in Creative Writing candidate at University of Utah and currently lives in Salt Lake City, UT. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing degree from Purdue University and a BA in English and Cinema Studies degree from University of Pennsylvania. Her poems and other writings are published or forthcoming in AAWW’s The Margins, American Poetry Review, Indiana Review, Poetry NW, Tupelo Quarterly, and elsewhere. She serves as The Nation’s assistant poetry editor.
