Lance Larsen grew up in Idaho mowing lawns, delivering newspapers, and dreaming of catching Bigfoot on film. He is the author of six poetry collections, most recently Making a Kingdom of It (U of Tampa, 2024). His work has appeared in Poetry, APR, New York Review of Books, London Magazine, Best American Poetry, and elsewhere. His awards include a Pushcart, The Sewanee Review Poetry Prize, the Missouri Review prize, and an NEA fellowship. In 2017 he completed a five-year appointment as Utah’s poet laureate. Sometimes he juggles.
