Jennifer Wong was born and raised in Hong Kong and is now based in the UK. She has a creative writing PhD at Oxford Brookes University and is author of several poetry collections including 回家 Letters Home (Nine Arches Press), a PBS Spring 2020 Wild Card Choice. She teaches creative writing at Poetry School and was writer in residence at Wasafiri in 2011. She is a visiting fellow at Oxford TORCH humanities research centre for 2022. Her poetry has appeared in Poetry London, Magma Poetry, The Rialto, Wasafiri and World Literature Today. Her book, Identity, Home and Writing Elsewhere in Contemporary Chinese Diaspora Poetry, will be published by Bloomsbury Academic in 2023. She also reviews and translates poetry.
