Redscar McOdindo K’Oyuga

Redscar McOdindo K’Oyuga writes in Swahili and English. His work has appeared, or is forthcoming, in African American Review, Clarion at Boston, Transition at Harvard, SAND, Mandala, The Shade, One, EXPOUND, Lawino, Jalada, Kwani?, Enkare Review, and elsewhere, including in anthologies of Babishai Niwe Poetry Foundation for whose prize he was shortlisted. He won Writivism’s Okot p’Bitek Prize for Poetry in Translation and the inaugural NALIF Prize for Poetry.
