Headless Reunion Song by Ruth Baumann

A labyrinth in past tense :: too much sugar in the blood.

How hair dries after it’s put to bed wet. Not the head, not

the place where the dampness evaporates. A labyrinth

devoid of tense :: the home blood makes in its pursuit

of more other say that shit again but louder

& so close to my face my skull feels your breath.
